What Does Unresolved Trauma Look Like in Adults?

5. Negative beliefs: Development of negative beliefs about oneself, others, or the world, leading to low self-esteem, feelings of helplessness, or a sense of vulnerability.

Seeking support from mental health professionals trained in trauma therapy, such as trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences effectively.
